I’m a writer.
I know what it’s like to have an idea that won’t go away, even if you don’t know quite how to get it down on the page in a way that captures what you’re feeling. I know the highs (this phrase is perfect!) and the lows (that’s… not coming out how I pictured it…), and I love helping writers clarify their visions into reality.
So I get other writers.
What’s with all the beach stuff?
I love the ocean. My grandpa and dad both build boats, and I’ve spent a lot of my life either on or near the water. And when I went looking for a name for my editing business, I thought of how I would need to be flexible, able to change my colors easily, and have my hands in a lot of subjects at once. That made me think of an octopus, so I came up with Eight Arms Editing.
Also, I just really like octopuses. They’re awesome.
